Overview
The Department of Public Works and Government Services, on behalf of Defence Research and Development Canada, is procuring software maintenance, support, and code modernization services to rewrite the DRDC Submarine Simulation Package in a modern programming language. The contract will support submarine hydrodynamics research and development through a Task Authorization Contract. Defence Research and Development (DRDC) has a requirement for a Contractor to re-write the code of the DRDC Submarine Simulation Package (DSSP) up to current standards in a modernprogramming language, and to maintain the software support services. This Task Authorization Contract (TAC) will support submarine hydrodynamics Research and Development (R&D) atDRDC, and will fulfill DRDC’s requirement for software development, maintenance, application, and user support for DSSP.
