The Department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is establishing a pool of qualified suppliers to perform testing and certification services for energy efficiency regulated products. Typically, accredited independent testing laboratories, certification bodies, and environmental engineering firms specializing in energy efficiency standards would bid on this Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA).

This RFSA is posted on the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) to allow new Suppliers to become qualified. Pre-qualified suppliers, to whom a supply arrangement (including signed amendments) has been issued under RFSA #NRCan-5000091272 will not be required to submit a new arrangement. The purpose of this supply arrangement is to create a pool of qualified suppliers to test and certify products identified in the Energy Efficiency Regulations and fenestration products for Natural Resources Canada.
