Overview
The Department of Public Works and Government Services (PSPC) is establishing a Supply Arrangement to pre-qualify contractors for the rental of heavy construction equipment, complete with qualified operators, at various CFB Halifax locations in Nova Scotia. Typical bidders are heavy equipment rental companies and construction contractors with the capacity to provide both machinery and operators. Due to the nature of the sites, bidding suppliers must be able to meet specific security clearance requirements.

THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS A SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT. A Supply Arrangement is being established to develop a list of pre-qualified contractors to supply heavy construction equipment rental complete with operators for the various locations of CFB Halifax. The work included in this requirement includes but will not be limited to heavy construction equipment rental, qualified heavy construction equipment operators as needed, removal and disposal of contaminated soil, provision of various types of backfill, capacity to perform minor asphalt and concrete work repairs, and clean up.
